The Position

Vraic opened in Summer 2025 and was awarded One Michelin Star in February 2026. Next to Guernsey’s golden sands, we create a multi-course tasting menu shaped by the island’s land and sea, working closely with local fisherman, farmers and growers to deliver a unique and memorable dining experience in Guernsey.

Described by Michelin as the “very definition of a destination restaurant”, Vraic is built on care, craft and attention to detail. 

We now have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic full or part time Kitchen Porter to join our team and be part of something special. 

This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organised and efficient environment that allows us to deliver the highest standard of service.

The Responsibilities

•           Washing pots, pans, crockery and utensils quickly and efficiently

•           Maintain cleanliness across all kitchen and back-of-house areas

•           Assist with deliveries and ensure goods are stored safely and correctly

•           Support chefs with basic preparation tasks when required

•           Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times

Experience / Qualifications / Education

•           Hardworking, reliable and punctual

•           Take pride in doing things properly

•           Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude

•           Previous experience is helpful, but not essential
