Retail Manager

We’re recruiting for the exciting role of Retail Manager within our Market Street practice. Our practice is owned and run by the local Directors whom you’ll be working in close collaboration with.  

Our ideal candidate has proven experience as a retail manager, with an emphasis on leadership and management skills, rather than optical knowledge or expertise.  

The role is central to ensuring we deliver the best service experience, alongside our existing team of dedicated colleagues.

• Ability to lead a team in a non-authoritative or confrontational manner 
• Ability to interact, collaborate and influence at a senior level  
• Personal desire to care & assist our patients  
• Self-reliant whilst recognising own limitations  
• Keen eye for retail standards 
• Knowledge of basic HR  
• Comfortable with IT systems including basic data spreadsheets, emails and communication software (eg. Microsoft Teams)  

• Minimum GCSE C / 5 or higher in Maths & English
• Proven experience at management level
• local licence must be held
