Financial Controller

A prominent financial services organisation is seeking a Financial Controller to lead its internal financial operations, management accounting, and budgeting functions. Reporting to senior executive leadership, this role is key to maintaining high-quality financial stewardship, ensuring compliance with internal governance controls, and supporting broader strategic objectives.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee end-to-end management and financial accounting processes, including draft financial statement preparation, annual audit support, monthly divisional reporting, and capital expenditure tracking. You will lead the annual budgeting cycle, maintain cash flow and banking administration, oversee payroll finance checks, and assist with statutory fee reporting. Additionally, you will line-manage, coach, and support the development of accounts assistants within the finance function.

The ideal candidate possesses strong professional accountancy experience and a solid background in financial planning, management reporting, and team management.
