Temporary Financial Crime Officer (1 month)

Our client is looking for a Financial Crime Analyst to start immediately, providing support to the MLRO, Deputy MLRO and Senior Compliance colleagues in relation to financial crime matters across the Guernsey insurance business. The contract will last approximately 1 month.

In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support across a range of financial crime activities, including suspicious activity reporting, sanctions, customer due diligence, risk assessments and regulatory reporting. You will maintain accurate and confidential records, assist with monitoring and reporting requirements, and work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure financial crime matters are managed effectively and escalated appropriately.

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a high level of integrity and discretion. Previous experience within compliance, financial services, financial crime or administration would be advantageous, as would an awareness of AML/CFT/CPF and sanctions requirements. Most importantly, you will have a genuine interest in developing your knowledge of financial crime, a collaborative and proactive approach, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

Ideally, this is a full-time role; however, reduced hours of 30 hours per week may be considered for the right candidate.
