Unqualified Nursery Assistant

To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care .To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn. 
Build strong relationships with parents. 

Energy, organisation, motivation and creativity would suit this role. You need to be practical, patient and enjoy spending time with children. Skills such as singing, drawing and acting would certainly help. If you exude warmth, compassion and possess a sense of humour this could be the perfect job for 
you. You must be dedicated, responsible and able to model appropriate behaviour. You are ideally firm but kind and willing to comply with any rules set by your employer. The ability to communicate clearly, and keep calm and composed in a crisis, is essential.
Enhanced Police Check and Health Check Required

• To assist your Room Leader in effectively delivering the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met (in conjunction with other team members)
• To keep records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers and other key adults in the child’s life.
• Support all staff and engage in a good staff team.
• To develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with 
  parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and early learning needs
• To ensure the provision of a high quality safe and stimulating environment to meet the needs of individual children. 
• To advise manager/deputy of any concerns, e.g. over children, parents, 
  the safety of the environment, preserving confidentiality as necessary.
• To be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g. training, staff 
  meetings,etc ( on occasion)
• To be flexible within working practices of the setting, undertaking other 
  responsible duties where needed, such as domestic tasks, preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment, etc.
• Whilst you will be allocated a base room, you may on occasion be asked to cover in other rooms. 
  • To adhere to all Health & Safety, Nursery policies and procedures 

No qualifications necessary, experience with children would be an advantage.
