Kids @ Kings Summer Holiday Camp Leader

Kids@Kings is part of Kings Premier Health Club, Guernsey’s leading health, fitness and leisure destination. We run popular and trusted Kids Holiday Camps that provide fun, safe, and memorable experiences. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and responsible Summer Holiday Camp Leader to act as an on-site leader during our Kids Summer Holiday Camps. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the camp, ensuring the highest standards of child safety, customer service, activity delivery and team performance. 

 This role would particularly suit a current or former teacher, teaching assistant, sports coach or activity leader looking for rewarding and flexible work during the school holidays. 

1. Act as the on-site leader of the Kids@Kings Holiday Camp, ensuring children have a safe, fun and engaging experience.
2. Lead and support a team of Camp Assistants, allocating responsibilities and maintaining appropriate supervision ratios. 
3. Oversee the daily camp activities, including sports, games, swimming sessions, arts & crafts and off-site trips.
4. Act as the main point of contact for parents, staff and Kings management during camp hours.
5. Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and child welfare standards are maintained at all times.
6. Assist with the planning and organisation of activity schedules, staffing requirements and camp resources. 
7. Ensure facilities, equipment and activity areas are safe and organised, ready for use, and cleared up tidily at the end of each day. 
8. Support the continued development and success of the Kids@Kings Holiday Camp programme.

1. Experience in a children's supervisory or leadership role, preferably working with primary school-aged children. 
2. Enhanced DBS certificate or equivalent Police Check.
3. Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications.
4. Right to Work in Guernsey
5. Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills. 
6. Swimming Pool Safety Training qualification an advantage.
