Kids@Kings Summer Holiday Camp Assistant

Kids@Kings is part of Kings Premier Health Club, Guernsey’s leading health, fitness and leisure destination. We run popular and trusted Kids Holiday Camps that provide fun, safe, and memorable experiences. 

We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable and energetic Holiday Camp Assistants to support our Holiday Camp Leaders in delivering a fun, engaging and safe experience for all children attending.

This role would particularly suit students, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth leaders or anyone who enjoys working with children and is looking for flexible seasonal work during the school holidays.

1. Support the delivery of fun, safe and engaging Holiday Camp activities. 
2. Assist with sports, games, swimming sessions, arts & crafts and off-site trips.
3. Help supervise and engage with children throughout the day.
4. Assist with setting up and tidying away equipment and activity areas. 
5. Promote a positive, inclusive and enjoyable environment for all children. 
6. Follow safeguarding, health & safety and child welfare procedures at all times.

1. Enthusiastic, reliable and enjoys working with children. 
2. Enhanced DBS Certificate (or equivalent Police Check).
3. Right to work in Guernsey. 
4. Able to work well as part of a team and communicate confidently with children.
5. Previous experience working with children is desirable. 
6. First Aid, Safeguarding, Swimming Pool Safety, Lifeguard, sports coaching or other relevant childcare qualifications are highly desirable.
