Consider our 2026 farm apprenticeship at Rocquette Cider.

Come and be part of our family farm and learn about growing apples specifically for cider, with over 10 different traditional cider varieties, on a certified organic and bio-intensively managed orchard. We believe that making great ciders begins in the orchard, and is followed by discipline and dedication in the production area.

This apprenticeship flows with the natural cycle of farming and cider making, from planting, managing the orchard, harvest, pressing, and everything else in between.

We have an opening for this position. We are calling it an apprenticeship because you will be exposed to all aspects of the business and learn through working.

The ideal candidate will be someone who feels comfortable working in a family farm setting, is easy to get along with, has a great work ethic, and the ability to do physical labour from time to time with a strong interest in farming or cider making, ideally both. 

Experience is not necessary, but you must be willing to learn to operate farm machinery, do manual labour throughout the day, work outside in the cold and heat, talk cider, drink cider, taste cider, and almost never do the same thing for very long. A driving licence is essential and the ability to drive a tractor and forklift when required.
