Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud Services

A senior opportunity is available for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to take a lead role in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud services across multiple jurisdictions.

This role focuses on delivering and managing infrastructure solutions, including IaaS, disaster recovery, backup, networking, and security within a dynamic and evolving cloud services environment. The successful candidate will be involved in full lifecycle delivery—from client engagement and technical design through to implementation and third-line support—while also contributing to ongoing service improvement.

Key technologies include VMware (vSphere, vCenter, vCloud, NSX), Windows and Linux operating systems, storage solutions, and enterprise-level networking and security infrastructure. You will work closely with internal teams and external clients, providing consultancy, drafting technical documentation, and mentoring colleagues. The role also includes assisting commercial teams with pre-sales activity and supporting cloud services as part of an on-call rota.

Candidates should have at least five years of experience in a senior systems role, hold professional-level certifications (e.g., VCP, MCSE, CCNP), and demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and project delivery skills. A Basic Police Disclosure will be required due to the nature of the role. Experience with ITIL, ISO27001, or PCI-DSS standards would be an advantage.
