Sales Assistant - Doors & Flooring

We are looking for a motivated and committed individual with excellent customer service skills to join our team as our new Doors and Floors Sales Assistant.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working within a small team to build and maintain profitable customer relationships, driving sales, and seeking new business opportunities with new and existing customers
• Assisting with day-to-day operations over the phone, by email and in person
• Greeting customers and offering assistance, recommending products & offers and referring to experts when required
• Providing customers with product information, answering questions and queries and staying informed on the latest industry trends
• Processing orders and working with other departments to schedule deliveries and collections
• Handling and resolving basic complaints
• Ensuring procedures included within the Group Health & Safety Policy are always adhered to

Experience in Doors & Floors is helpful, but not mandatory. Key skills we will be looking for include:

• Sales and customer service experience, with a basic level of commercial awareness
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work well under pressure with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• A professional approach with excellent verbal, written communication and listening skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software
