Wedding & Events Assistant

Do you have a passion for celebrations, an eye for detail, and a love for helping people bring their dreams to life? We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and enthusiastic Wedding & Events Assistant to support our team in planning and delivering incredible weddings and special events.

As a key player in our events team, you’ll be hands-on in every part of the process, from initial planning to final execution, ensuring that every event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations!

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of weddings, corporate events, and private functions
• Liaise with suppliers, venues, and clients to coordinate logistics and timelines 
• Help with setting up and breaking down equipment & decor for events.
• Attend and assist during events, acting as a key point of contact for clients and guests
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation related to each event
• Contribute creative ideas and solutions during event planning sessions
• Keep track of stock equipment & decor, ensuring all is in working order and replaced following events 
• Driving vans to transport equipment & decor when required. 

• A positive attitude and genuine passion for weddings and events
• Very strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both in person and via email
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and problem-solve on the go
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional long hours during events
• Previous experience in events, hospitality, or customer service is a plus, but not essential if you're eager to learn!
• A full, clean driving licence is essential
• Ability to lift & carry heavy items, and work at heights
