Sales Advisor

To work within the Hardware and Electrical teams responsible for advising and selling products to our valued customers.

Advising customers on a range of hardware products including, but not limited to, baking, storage, gardening, tools and household items;

Advising customers on a range of freestanding and integrated domestic appliances and smaller household electrical items within the electrical department;

Ordering stock with the support of the team; 

Sharing suggestions and ideas for new product ranges and displays;  

Ensuring shelves are well stocked and displayed in a presentable, clean manner; 

Maintaining professional relationships with customers, ensuring a friendly, polite, and helpful approach at all times.  

Desire to establish a successful career in a sales/retail environment;

An interest in researching new product ranges, ordering stock and dealing with suppliers;

The ability to stock shelves and move stock as required;

First class communication skills with the ability to always deal with customers in a polite and professional manner;

Be initiative-taking and organised;

Trustworthy and dependable.

Competitive hourly rate

Minimum of 20 days annual leave per annum
