Driver

To support Norman Piette in providing excellent customer service by delivering products to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

•  Aiding other departments as needed, in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner
• Reviewing orders scheduled for delivery using the Journey Manifest, ensuring orders are complete and that the customer is satisfied
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints 
• Carrying out daily checks to ensure that vehicles are clean, safe to drive and ensure records are maintained
• Assisting & supervising the loading of goods to be delivered in a safe, efficient manner
• Using handheld devices correctly to evidence proof of delivery
• Assisting with the unloading of goods from vehicles on site
• Operating equipment and machines whilst reducing the risk of vehicle overloading
• Being compliant with the traffic laws and maintaining a safe driving record
• Undergoing training as and when required by the business
• Maintaining good health to be medically fit to drive; undertaking medicals when required and advising the company of any prescribed medication, that may impact the ability to do the job
• Adhere to Group Policies and Procedures.
• Adhere to the Group Health and Safety Policy.

•  Holds a full, clean driving license.
• Maintain customer confidentiality.
•  Familiarity of good customer service practices.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and listening skills.
• Works with a safety first approach at all times. 
• Ability to work within a team and individually.

• Organised with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
