Sustainability Senior Associate

An exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with expertise in ESG, climate change, or sustainability to join a highly dynamic professional services firm offering Advisory, Tax, Audit and other assurance services during an exciting period of growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for helping clients navigate their sustainability ambitions and providing practical advice on how to achieve them. Your expertise will be instrumental in advising clients on ESG, climate risks, and sustainable finance regulations. You will also need to develop a deep understanding of both financial and non-financial drivers that influence a business's sustainability efforts. In addition, you will be responsible for analysing business risks and opportunities related to climate change and the transition to a net-zero economy. Your work will involve writing reports and proposals, presenting information in a logical and structured way, and ensuring that the solutions you provide are both practical and innovative.

Collaboration is an essential aspect of this position, and you will work closely with teams across the network on larger projects. This may require travel or overnight stays, especially to London offices, and could also involve longer secondments, depending on project requirements. Beyond your work in sustainability, you will be encouraged to explore other areas of business consulting and transformation engagements, broadening your experience and expertise.

For this role, we are seeking candidates with a strong background in ESG, sustainability, climate risk, environmental sciences, or related fields. Ideally, you will have a degree or postgraduate qualification in one of these areas and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience, though we are open to considering candidates with diverse qualifications or experiences that align with the role. You should be self-motivated, with excellent organisational and project management skills, and be comfortable managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Your ability to analyse client needs and design relevant, sustainable solutions will be critical to your success.
