The Position

We are looking for a manager to oversee and drive growth of our Lotteries and Games fundraising division. The successful candidate will be responsible for running existing initiatives, keeping them fresh and exciting for our supporters, while overseeing the development of internal processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

28 hrs per week, flexible working times. Salary negotiable depending on experience.


The Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of existing initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance, implementing improvements where necessary.

Growth and Development:

  • Develop and implement strategies for growth and increased effectiveness of fundraising lotteries and games initiatives
  • Develop and maintain efficient systems and processes
  • Identify and explore new opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with team personnel responsible for marketing to promote and expand reach

People Management:

  • Lead and manage a small staff team responsible for admin support and marketing
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and innovation.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support the professional development of team members.

Compliance Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements for lotteries initiatives.
  • Prepare quarterly reports for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, ensuring that the organisation remains compliant and competitive.

Experience / Qualifications / Education

  • A love for and interest in people, with a desire to make a difference overseas
  • A hunger to learn and grow
  • Good team player
  • Proven track record of successful management of people and processes
  • A strong interest in systems and business development
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Good IT skills
  • A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and development.
