Audiology Practitioner (Trainee)

An Audiology Practitioner is an essential part of our audiology clinical team undertaking a range of activities to support the patient audiology pathway. 

The role is vital to maximise the efficiency and service provided to our audiology patients. 

The role involves direct patient interaction, in addition to close working relationship with the team, ideal for a candidate with a caring nature and excellent communication skills. 

All training will be provided to the point of qualified Audiology Practitioner, with further professional development possible.

Once fully trained, responsibilities include:

• preliminary questions
• otoscopy
• accurate record keeping
• internal referrals
• understanding & adherence of clinical practice guidelines 
• repairs to hearing devices
• audiometric screening

No previous experience required, all training will be provided. 

Educational requirements: minimum GCSE grade C in English, Maths & Science.
