Information Security Professional

An established technology services provider is seeking an Information Security Specialist to join its team, based in either Guernsey or Jersey. Delivering a hybrid of technical security, governance, compliance, and client advisory work, this role supports a diverse client portfolio across the Channel Islands in understanding cyber risks, strengthening controls, and meeting regulatory obligations.

You will conduct security reviews, prepare executive-level reporting, perform risk assessments, and guide clients through recognised assurance frameworks such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and IASME. Additional key duties include assisting with cyber security incident investigations, auditing cloud and infrastructure environments (particularly Microsoft 365/Azure platforms), and delivering practical, commercially minded security recommendations.

The ideal candidate brings a background in IT, cyber security, risk management, or compliance, alongside strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft security platforms or industry certifications is advantageous, though a proactive mindset and transferable technical skills are equally valued.
