Land of Green Ginger & Little Ginger are looking for two lovely people to join our small, friendly team in St Peter Port:

• One full-time team member
• One part-time team member

We’re looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic people who enjoy working with customers and would like to be part of a busy, independent retail business.

The full-time role could be particularly well suited to someone taking a gap year and looking to gain experience, build confidence and be part of a close-knit team before their next adventure.

Previous retail experience isn’t essential. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and genuine enjoyment of dealing with people are much more important to us.

The role will include:

• Welcoming and helping our customers
• Serving customers and using the till
• Receiving, unpacking and displaying new stock
• Keeping the shops looking beautiful, tidy and inviting
• Learning about our products so you can help and advise customers
• Helping with the everyday running of the shops
• Being flexible and happy to get stuck in when things are busy

Some Saturday work will be required.

No formal qualifications are required and previous retail experience is not essential.

The full-time position could be an ideal opportunity for a school or college leaver taking a gap year.
