Maintenance Gardener

We need another gardener.

And we’re heading into winter, so what a cracking time to start!

You’ll be outside. In Guernsey. In winter.

It’ll rain sideways.
Your waterproofs will eventually stop being waterproof.
You’ll discover mud in places mud has absolutely no business being.
And at some point you’ll probably be holding a hedge trimmer wondering why you didn’t choose an office job.

You might be our kind of person.

We need someone who turns up on time, works hard, uses their initiative and doesn’t require a motivational speech every time the temperature drops below 10 degrees.

Experience would be lovely.
A decent work ethic is non-negotiable.

You’ll be mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning, clearing, digging, planting and occasionally staring at something thinking “how the hell are we getting that in there?”

🌱 THE IMPORTANT BITS:

✅ Full-time
✅ Driving licence required
✅ Gardening experience preferred, but the right person can be taught
✅ Must already live in Guernsey and have the right to work here
✅ Must be capable of surviving both banter and weather
✅ Must understand that 7:30am means ready to work at 7:30am, not arriving in the car park at 7:29 👀
