Casual Postal Workers - Delivery

Guernsey Post is looking to recruit responsible and conscientious individuals to join our Postal Delivery team on a 6-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for people who enjoy being active, working outdoors and taking pride in delivering a reliable service to the local community. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will help sort and deliver mail and parcels across the island, playing an important role in keeping our communities connected.

Please note: A full, valid driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.

• Ability to work quickly and accurately with good attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of the island
• Comfortable working to deadlines.
• Able to walk for extended periods and carry mail items safely.
• Reliable, responsible and able to work independently.
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• No previous postal experience is required – full training will be provided.

 ​Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 2:30pm.

The recruitment process requires a basic police clearance. Candidates with unspent convictions for dishonesty or drug offences will not be eligible for appointment.

Casual Workers will not be required to take the Aptitude Test.
