The Position

To provide high quality service delivery support to the GTA, to ensure that the facilities are fit for the effective delivery of GTA training programmes. 

The Responsibilities

General

  • Opening and closing of the GTA Training Suite. 
  •  Upkeep and general care of the GTA Training Suite
  • Preparation of the training rooms, set up laptops and digital projectors to tutor requirements (Training to be provided)
  • Ensure all training laptops receive regular program and software updates
  • Cleaning and tidying the Training Suite and toilet areas 
  • Stock control and ordering of consumables
  • Liaison with suppliers and contractors
  • Check and report any damage or security defects to the building, furniture, fittings and equipment to the Head of Service Delivery
  • Undertake necessary training in First Aid at Work, AED Guardian, Fire Marshall Food Hygiene and Exam Invigilation
  • Assisting and supporting the Service Delivery team on administration tasks as and when required
  • Assisting the Exams team with invigilation and admin tasks when required.

 Customer Service

  • Welcoming and registration of students, tutors, exam candidates and visitors to the GTA
  • Preparation of onsite refreshments (tea, coffee, water etc) and the co-ordination of offsite refreshments as required
  • Support the Programme Managers in the liaison with tutors and students
  • Collection and delivery of materials and equipment to offsite locations
  • Any other work requested by and deemed appropriate by the Head of Service Delivery or the Senior Management Team.

Experience / Qualifications / Education

A hardworking, honest, dependable, self-motivated person to work as part of the Service Delivery Facilities team, who is willing to support the aims and values of the GTA. Ideally the postholder will have a working knowledge of IT programmes, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have the ability to troubleshoot when necessary.
