The Position

The Vaccine Programme Co-ordinator is responsible for supporting the effective organisation and delivery of adult and seasonal vaccination programmes. The role involves coordinating clinics, managing vaccine stock processes, supporting patient engagement activities, and assisting the Clinical Manager with programme administration and data retrieval.

Strict adherence to patient and Healthcare Group confidentiality at all times and managing data in line with GDPR legislation.


The Responsibilities

Vaccine Programme Coordination

  • Organise and coordinate adult and seasonal vaccination clinics. 
  • Support the planning and delivery of allocated pre-school nasal vaccine programmes. 
  • Coordinate allocated Care Home vaccination programmes to ensure efficient delivery. 
  • Assist with patient invitation processes to support clinic uptake and attendance. 

Vaccine Stock Management

  • Oversee vaccine stock levels and distribution processes. 
  • Ensure vaccines are appropriately allocated and available for scheduled clinics and programmes. 

Administrative Support

  • Assist the Clinical Manager with administration related to Patient Group Directions (PGDs). 
  • Support the retrieval and collation of programme data when requested. 
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to vaccination programmes. 

 


Experience / Qualifications / Education

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills. 
  • Ability to coordinate multiple programmes and priorities effectively. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience working within healthcare administration or vaccination services. 
  • Competent in the use of IT systems and data management. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
