Multi-Functional Fitness Coach

Kings Premier Health Club (www.kings.gg) is Guernsey’s leading destination for wellness - health, fitness, nutrition and wellbeing.

We are currently undertaking an exciting business transformation program, including the construction of a new multi-million-pound pools and spa project (and other facilities)— set to be the finest in the Channel Islands. As part of this next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Multi-Functional Fitness Coach. 
 
Working closely with the Club Group Manager and wider team, this role actively engages with members on the gym floor, delivering PT & Group Exercise Classes whilst also playing a key role in driving sales, member engagement and retention when undertaking members services duties. 

This is a hands-on, multi-functional role suited to an energetic and member-focused individual who thrives in a varied environment.

1.       Level 3 Personal Training qualification.

2.       Experience working in a gym or health club environment in a multi-functional role.

3.       Proven ability to deliver personal training sessions and group fitness classes.

4.       Strong customer service and communication skills, with experience in reception or front-of-house duties.

5.       Experience supporting sales activities, including member enquiries, tours, and service promotion.

6.       Well-organised, with the ability to manage gym floor, reception, and class responsibilities effectively.

7.       Good knowledge of health and safety, safe exercise practices, and gym equipment.

8.       Familiarity with fitness technology platforms (e.g. TRAKK, Myzone) is advantageous.

1.       Deliver high-quality member inductions, personal training sessions, design programmes and conduct regular programme reviews.

2.       Uphold exceptional member service standards at all times, including but not limited to member check-ins, quick responses to enquiries, administrative duties and opening & closing procedures to ensure overall club safety and security.

3.       Contribute to the development and delivery of inclusive and engaging gym challenges, incorporating both TRAKK and Myzone platforms, supporting the Group Club Manager in managing these systems.

4.       Deliver sales through guided membership tours, respond to enquiries over the phone and via email, and promoting / up-selling additional services such as Personal Training and 1857 products.

5.       Actively engage with members on the gym floor, supporting retention, motivation, and ensuring the safe and effective use of equipment.

6.       Support the design, implementation, and regular review of the class timetable to ensure a balanced and well-attended programme that meets member needs and business objectives.

7.       Update the member and sales CRM’s timeously and accurately in line with company policies and procedures.

8.       Proactively identify, report, and assist in resolving maintenance issues, including the replacement of damaged equipment, through regular weekly and monthly checks. 

9.       Comply fully with all Health and Safety policies and requirements.

10.   To maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across all areas of the club.
