B7 Neuro Physiotherapist

Guernsey Therapy Group Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to come and join our experienced and dynamic team. We believe in intensive, patient centred rehabilitation, aiming to achieve the best possible outcomes facilitated by skilled and motivated physiotherapists and assistants. We offer clinical supervision, peer support and commitment to CPD.

The post holder will provide highly specialised physiotherapy management to neurological in-patients, with occasional cross-cover in neurological out-patients and various community settings.  

The post holder will be involved in conducting physiotherapy assessments, treatment and physiotherapy diagnosis including identifying and discussing appropriate medical interventions. 

Experience/Qualifications/Training

• Appropriate physiotherapy professional qualification e.g. MCSP / BSc or MSc  
• State Registered with Health Professional Council 
• CSP or equivalent professional registration evidence of CPD in Neurological physiotherapy, in the form of a detailed professional portfolio
•  Evidence of CPD in Neurological physiotherapy, in the form of a detailed professional portfolio 

Experience - Essential

• Highly specialised knowledge and experience of a range of approaches to the management of neurological patients. 
• Previous experience of work in inter- and multidisciplinary teams.  
• Experience supervising other staff or students. 

Experience -Desirable

• Minimum 5 years post-graduation.  
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience within specialised service area. 
• Knowledge or practical use of audit. 
• Experience of project work and identifying and implementing evidence-based practice.
