Domestic Assistant

We are currently seeking a reliable and hard working individual for the role of Domestic Assistant at Saumarez Park Manor Residential Home.  This is a full time position of 36 hours per week, which will include some weekends.  You will be part of an enthusiastic and supportive team delivering a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our home. 

You will be responsible for all aspects of cleaning and tidying within the Home.  This will include, but is not limited to:

• Vacuuming and dusting, washing floors 
• Cleaning carpets and upholstery
• Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, bedrooms, lounges and all communal areas
• Removal of clinical and domestic waste 
• Reporting any maintenance issues
• Deep cleaning as required 
• Care of all cleaning equipment and products 

No formal qualifications or prior experience is required for this role, however you must display a willingness to learn, have a friendly disposition and be able to communicate well with our residents and other members of staff.
