The Position

We are looking to recruit an experienced IT Consultant to join our Service Delivery team responsible for providing outsourced IT support and project delivery. This role is critical to deliver the effective and continuous provision of support to our diverse range of clients. You will be responsible for resolving technically challenging, time sensitive, and high priority tickets and delivering projects or improvements for our clients in accordance with our agreed KPIs and SLAs. This is a diverse role which will include a combination of reactive and proactive support and onsite visits as well as supporting the delivery of large projects.

The Responsibilities

• Undertake technically demanding, time sensitive, and high priority tickets. 
• Act as a senior escalation point for the Service Delivery team.  
• As and when required, support the completion of projects.
• Ensure that tickets are dealt with according to SLA whilst considering customer urgency and their wider needs. 
• Assist with coaching and mentoring other staff
• Ensure all tickets are accurately logged and have all required detail before accepting escalation. 
• Ensure adherence to performance targets including SLAs and KPIs. 
• Take ownership of logged tickets, tracking the progress of all calls /  ticket updates and follow-up with the customer to ensure that they are satisfied with the resolution. 
• Follow processes to ensure that a high quality of service is provided, at all times. 
• Build and maintain strong working relationships within the Service Delivery team, our clients and with the wider organisation.

Experience / Qualifications / Education

Skills & behaviours required

As a Senior Consultant, you will already have experience managing complex envrionments and you will specialise in Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies. From a day-to-day service perspective, you’ll have a deep understanding administering Office 365, Azure, MFA, and Windows Server (including AD, Exchange, and SQL). You will preferably be confident using ticketing systems, firewall management (SonicWall, Ubiquiti), Wi-Fi support, and have a solid grasp of networking fundamentals. 

As a senior team member, you may also lead project delivery. This requires both technical proficiency and strong business acumen, including the ability to independently scope, plan, and execute end-to-end migrations across Microsoft 365, Exchange, Azure, and on-premises environments. You’ll also be expected to engage effectively with third-party vendors and clients to ensure smooth execution and alignment with strategic objectives.

You will hold exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships across the business. You must also have strong time management and personnel skills and be able to work under pressure in a fast paced envrionment.
