Gardener Hire

We are seeking someone with a true passion for gardening, who enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate will thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• General garden practices e.g. mowing, strimming, pruning, hedge cutting,  leaf clearing and weeding
• The preparation and planting of new gardens
• Growing of fruit and vegetables
• Running of apple orchards
• The use and care of land management equipment and tools
• Working closely with other members of the team to maintain all aspects of the garden

Previous experience in gardening is not necessary but will be considered an advantage.

 We are seeking an applicant with the following qualities:

• Good communication skills
• A willingness to learn
• A good level of fitness
• Capability to undertake physically demanding tasks

Applicants must be friendly, discrete, and possess a strong work ethic. The role requires working in various weather conditions, so resilience and a positive attitude are essential.
