The Position

Due to the continuing success of the new Living brand at Norman Piette, we are looking to recruit additional staff to join our showroom team supporting the design and sales of kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.

 You will be assisting customers in person and over the telephone by answering queries, recommending products and offers and providing essential support to the design team following up quotes, co-ordinating appointments, and the delivery/collection of orders. 

 This is a busy role requiring excellent customer and communication skills and would suit someone who is hardworking and motivated to make a difference in a busy and interesting customer focused role. 

The Responsibilities

·        Greeting customers and offering assistance, recommending products, offers and referring to experts. 

·        Following up customer enquiries when required with product & sales information, as well as handling & resolving customer requests or complaints.

·        Helping to ensure that customer orders required for delivery or collection are dealt with in a timely manner.

·        Ensuring that stocks are properly managed.

·        Maintaining high customer satisfaction standards and an environment of continuous improvement.

·        Ensuring excellent customers service levels are always achieved, on a day-to-day basis, in person and over the phone, building long term relationships.

·        Researching and keeping up to date with the latest industry techniques and methods, researching required product information using available resources meeting the customers’ expectations.

·        Working with the team to build and maintain profitable customer relationships, driving sales, and seeking new business opportunities with new and existing customers.

·        Working closely with team members, customers, architects, and contractors.

·        Provide information and support on quotations and CAD drawings in a timely manner.

·        Following up on customer quotations, document the progress of what has been won and lost.  

Experience / Qualifications / Education

·        Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work well under pressure.

·        Excellent verbal, written communication and listening skills.

·        Ability to work independently and within a team.

·        Works in a professional manner.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

·        Organised with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

·        Maintain customer confidentiality.
