Information Systems Analyst, IT Department, Guernsey

TISE is seeking to recruit an Information Systems Analyst who has established experience working in an end-user desktop support role or computer operations environment. This is a hands-on role which will require the successful candidate to be actively involved in all the user-facing and technology governance activities for which the IT department is responsible.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Provide exceptional customer service to staff
• Respond to user queries and help requests
• Escalate complex issues
• Ensure new joiners have all required equipment and set ups before they join
• Analyse trends of technology issues for recurring problems
• Manage stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies
• Ensure technology policies, procedures and plans are properly documented 
• Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance upgrades
• Support and perform periodic system testing
• Assist with the day-to-day operation of technology governance and controls
• Assist with the implementation of internal projects or technology changes

The key competencies for this role include exceptional customer service and communication skills, in depth knowledge of hardware and software, hands on experience working in an end user desktop support role and an understanding of technology infrastructure and systems.
