Delivery Driver / Installations Engineer

We are looking for an additional member of staff to join our friendly delivery team. The main purpose of this role is the delivery and installation of domestic appliances to customers’ homes in a friendly, efficient and polite manner. Both permanent and temporary roles are available.

Delivering a range of freestanding and integrated domestic appliances to customers’ homes.  Appliances include, but are not limited to, Washing Machines, Tumble Dryers, Fridges and Cookers;

Installing appliances and removal of old appliances if required;

Assisting with onloading appliances from the container;

Communicating with customers in a friendly, polite, and helpful manner;

Ensuring, at all times, utmost respect for customers’ properties;

Sharing any Health and Safety concerns with management, as necessary.

Experience of handling domestic appliances is desirable but not essential;

Experience with electrical equipment and/or hardware tools;

A basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems;

First class communication skills;

Be initiative-taking and organised;

Trustworthy and dependable;

Up-to-date, clean driving licence;

Experience of driving a fork-lift is desirable but not essential.
