Credit Officer

An exciting opportunity within a large, international financial services business which provides discretionary portfolio management and investment advisory services.

The role holder will work as a key member of the existing credit management team. This role is focussed on the arrangement and management of asset backed credit facilities with the potential to also become involved with the arrangement and management of UK real estate transactions.

The role also requires the incumbent to be involved in such other areas as the research and development of new credit products and their supporting systems/processes, representation on various committees within the Bank (including the Bank’s Credit Committee), development of credit strategy and communication of credit related services and issue to clients, relationship managers and senior management within Guernsey and the wider Group.

Candidates should have international private banking experience (at least 5 years), within a credit environment, developed knowledge of the principles of lending on a cross border basis to different borrower types and against different types of asset class, a strong level of risk awareness and professional Securities and/or Banking Qualifications.
