Pharmacy Assistant

This is a retail focused position that requires delivery of outstanding customer service. 

Although previous experience is desirable, full training will be provided. Commitment to further development and education is essential.

• Receive prescriptions 
• Performs monetary transactions using a cash register or computerized payment system
• using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels
• ordering items
• receiving, loading, unloading deliveries
• selling over-the-counter medicines
• answering customers questions face to face or by phone
• referring problems or queries to the pharmacist
• Assists customers with finding items and having a great customer experience
• Has a general knowledge of product pricing and place in the shop

·       Good communication skills

·       Organizational skills with attention to detail

·       Team player

·       Retail and healthcare experience is desirable, but not essential 

·       Ability to work independently

·       Proactive approach
