We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Superintendent Pharmacist to join our dynamic team.


Role Overview:

As the Superintendent Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of our pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. 


The Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

·        Ensure the pharmacy operates in full compliance with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards and all relevant legislation.

·        Develop, implement, and review pharmacy procedures to meet company and regulatory requirements.

·        Manage and lead the pharmacy team, providing training and guidance to ensure best practices are followed.

·        Liaise with healthcare professionals, including GPs and consultants, to provide expert pharmaceutical advice within the specialised area.

·        Oversee the storage, and supply of specialised medicines, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.

·        Monitor and improve service delivery, ensuring that patient needs are met efficiently and effectively.

·        Stay informed on new developments, legislation, and best practices in the pharmaceutical industry.

Experience / Qualifications / Education

Qualifications & Experience:

·        Must be a registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) in the UK.

·        A minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with proven experience in a leadership role.

·        Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including the Medicines Act, GPhC standards.

·        Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and build effective relationships with healthcare professionals.

·        Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on patient safety and compliance.

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in the healthcare sector.
