The Last Post is a friendly, lively pub in the heart of St Andrews. We’re known for our welcoming atmosphere, great food and fantastic team spirit. We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Kitchen Porter to help keep our kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly.

You’ll need a positive attitude, a willingness to get stuck in and availability to work evenings and weekends as part of a rota. No previous experience is necessary — full training will be provided.

• Keep the kitchen clean and organised to the highest standards
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently
• Assist chefs with basic food prep when required
• Help with deliveries, stock rotation, and waste disposal
• Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene guidelines
• Support the team with daily cleaning schedules and closing down procedures

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good communication skills and a team player mentality
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Previous kitchen experience helpful, but not essential
