The Last Post is a friendly local pub and restaurant at the heart of the community — busy, welcoming and all about good drinks, good food and a great atmosphere.

We’re looking for reliable, hard-working people to join our bar team on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on role in a busy pub environment, so a positive attitude, good energy and a willingness to get stuck in are essential.

Flexible shifts are available, including evenings and weekends.

Please note: Applicants must already have the right to work in Guernsey or be living in Guernsey and eligible to obtain an employment permit. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship to overseas applicants.

•  Serving drinks in a friendly and professional manner 
•  Preparing and pouring drinks to a high standard 
•  Taking customer orders and handling payments accurately 
•  Keeping the bar and customer areas clean and organised 
•  Restocking fridges and helping service run smoothly 
•  Supporting the team during busy trading periods 
•  Helping with opening and closing duties as required

Previous bar or customer service experience would be an advantage, although full training can be provided for the right candidate.

We’re looking for someone who is:

•  Comfortable working in a busy pub environment 
•  Available to work evenings and weekends as part of a rota 
•  Willing to learn and support the wider team 

No formal qualifications are required. Basic numeracy and good spoken English are important.
