Retail Manager

The Farm Shop exists to create a dedicated route to market for farmers and growers working in balance with nature, employing regenerative principles.

We focus on food that is grown with care for the soil, the animals and the wider environment. We’re helping build a more resilient local food system, one that supports farmer livelihoods, community health and the long-term future of the land.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for ensuring the shop operates efficiently, delivers an outstanding customer experience and continues to grow.

**MUST BE RESIDENT IN GUERNSEY**

• Manage the day-to-day running of the shop
• Lead and develop the shop team
• Deliver excellent customer service standards
• Achieve sales targets and maximise profitability
• Manage stock control, merchandising, and store presentation
• Handle staff scheduling, training, and performance management
• Ensure health & safety and company procedures are followed

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead our retail team and drive the success within our business.  The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, proven retail management experience, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Leadership skills, with a minimum of 2 years managerial experience in a customer facing role.
• Proven experience of effectively leading a team.
