Security Officer

Job Brief:

We are looking for a diligent Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies and security threats, Must have good I.T knowledge.

The applicant must be residing on the Island of Guernsey when making their application. 

• Book customers into the facility
• Good I.T. skills
• Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents promptly and appropriately.
• Conduct security checks and inspections of designated areas.
• Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and observations.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms systems.
• Report any security breaches, safety hazards, or suspicious activities to management.
• Follow security protocols, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

• Physical fitness and ability to perform security-related tasks.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.

• Integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
• Availability to nights shifts

 Uniform, some flexibility in working hours, additional hours working hours on request. 

08:30hrs until 16:30hrs/17:30hrs Monday to Friday
