Bar Supervisor

The Last Post Pub & Restaurant is a friendly local pub and restaurant at the heart of the community — busy, welcoming, and all about good drinks, good food, and a great atmosphere.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Supervisor to lead by example and help deliver outstanding service. This is a hands-on role, working alongside the team during busy service while supporting the day-to-day operation of the bar.

• Leading the bar team during service and setting high standards
• Preparing and serving drinks to a consistently high standard
• Delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Supervising, supporting and motivating the bar team
• Assisting with staff training and development
• Managing cash handling, tills and end-of-day procedures
• Maintaining stock levels and assisting with ordering and stock control
• Ensuring the bar is clean, organised and fully prepared for service
• Supporting the management team with the day-to-day running of the business
• Assisting with opening and closing duties

Previous bar experience is essential, with supervisory or team leader experience preferred. Applicants should be confident leading a team, working under pressure and maintaining high service standards.
