Key Responsibilities

·       Install, test, and commission electrical components in ventilation systems, including fans, controllers, sensors, and motorised dampers.

·       Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on ventilation units and control systems.

·       Diagnose electrical faults and deliver on-site solutions.

·       Interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.

·       Collaborate closely with ventilation engineers, fabricators, and project managers.

·       Ensure compliance with current wiring regulations and company safety and quality standards.

·       Complete Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC) and all required documentation accurately.

Key Skills & Attributes

·       Strong technical knowledge of electrical installations and fault-finding.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

·       Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.

·       Safety-focused, with an understanding of RAMS and safe working practices.

·       Flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel as needed.

·       Problem-solver with a “can-do” attitude, ready to think on your feet.

Key Qualifications & Experience

·       NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent - essential.

·       18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) - essential.

·       City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 & 2395 (Inspection & Testing) - desirable.

·       Experience within HVAC or ventilation environments - advantageous.

·       Full, valid UK driving licence - essential.
