The Position

We’re a friendly, down-to-earth gardening and landscaping company, looking for a creative and motivated Content Creator / Marketing Assistant to help build our brand and online presence through engaging, authentic content.

This is a part-time, flexible role – typically around 8 hours per week – ideal for a young adult, school leaver, or college student looking to gain hands-on experience in content creation and digital marketing. You'll work closely with our marketing manager, helping shape ideas, draft content, and bring our team culture and projects to life on social media.

There’s flexibility for some of the work to be done from home, especially content planning, editing, and scheduling. However, any on-site visits to gather footage or photos will need to happen within the working week, so you can capture the team in action.

The Responsibilities

Collaborate with the marketing manager to plan content and campaigns

Create and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (posts, ads, stories, reels)

Use supplied photos/videos to produce engaging content; you may also visit sites to gather your own (own transport required)

Draft all posts and ads for review and feedback

Work from a marketing calendar and content plan

Use tools like Canva, AI platforms, and Meta Business Suite to design, enhance, and schedule high-quality social media content

Help promote our services, showcase our team culture, and highlight projects like our veg patch and gardens

Experience / Qualifications / Education

No formal qualifications required – we’re looking for someone with proven creativity

Confident using Canva and major social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook

Comfortable drafting written content (Use of AI is fine!)

Naturally creative, with an eye for visual storytelling

Interest in using AI tools to enhance content and streamline workflow

Able to take feedback, work independently, and stick to a plan

Training will be provided on systems and tools, but creative flair is essential

Bonus if you have:

  • Basic video/photo editing skills
  • Own transport for occasional site visits
  • An interest in gardens, sustainability, or design

Benefits

Flexible hours to fit around other commitments

Option to work from home for planning, editing, and scheduling tasks

Hands-on experience and portfolio development

Friendly, supportive team environment

Pension scheme

Performance bonus opportunities

Holiday and sick pay

Team building activity days

Real input into a growing brand with personality and purpose

How to Apply
We’re not worried about polished CVs or fancy cover letters — we’re looking for genuine creativity and enthusiasm. If you’ve made something you're proud of — whether it’s a design, a video, a school project, a personal idea, or even just a fun Instagram post — we’d love to see it. And if you haven’t created content before but have loads of creative energy and ideas, tell us about them! We’re excited to hear how you’d bring fresh thinking to the role.
