The Position

Join Our BATIF Bureau de Change Team! 

Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are key? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our BATIF Bureau de Change Team on a temporary, part-time basis.

The Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Handling and processing customer orders made online, by phone, or through the Guernsey Post retail network. 
  • Verifying the authenticity of foreign banknotes and travellers cheques.
  • Keeping our social media channels updated with exchange rates and relevant information.


Contract Details:

Duration: 1st April 2025 – 30th June 2025

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 14:00



Experience / Qualifications / Education

What We’re Looking For:

  • A customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
  • Numerical confidence to handle transactions efficiently.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a busy environment.

Experience in foreign exchange is a plus, but don’t worry if you’re new to it – we’ll provide full training!
