Printing Operative

 The successful applicant will be responsible for the daily printing of our cards and photo gifts using our state-of-the-art HP and Ricoh printing machines. 

At Funky Pigeon, a leading online personalized greeting cards and gifts retailer, the role of a Printer involves several key responsibilities to ensure efficient production and timely order dispatch:

• Operation of Printing Equipment: Manage and operate various printing machines,  to produce high-quality personalized cards and gifts. 
• Finishing Processes: Handle finishing equipment such as UV coating machines and automated cutter creasers
• Workflow Management: Utilize automated workflow systems to process large volumes of orders efficiently, ensuring all jobs are printed correctly and on time. 
• Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to maintain product quality, ensuring that all items meet Funky Pigeon's standards before dispatch.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on printing and finishing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet production targets, especially during peak periods such as Christmas  
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

These responsibilities are crucial in maintaining the high standards and customer satisfaction associated with Funky Pigeon's products.

Experience in similar role would be preferred, but full training will be give to the ideal candidate.
