Domestic Assistant

Maison De Beauvoir Care Home are currently seeking a reliable and hard working Domestic Assistant.  We are looking for someone who will take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness within our lovely care establishment.  

This is a full time position of  36 hours per week (8-2pm), which will include some weekend work. 

To work as part of a small team who are responsible for the cleanliness of all areas of the home, including residents' rooms, bathrooms, staff and public areas.  This includes:

• General domestic cleaning and tidying
• Removal of domestic and clinical waste
• Washing floors and surfaces
• Vacuuming and dusting
• Cleaning bathrooms: baths, sinks and toilets
• Reporting any maintenance issues
• Maintaining accurate cleaning records 
• Any other domestic duties are requested by the Domestic Team Leader/Care Manager 

Whether you have prior experience as a Domestic Assistant, or are looking to try something new, we would be delighted to hear from you. 

No formal qualifications are necessary; we are more interested in seeking reliable and hard working individuals, who possess a willingness to learn, take pride in their work and who enjoy being part of a team.  

Our Domestic Assistants have lots of contact with our lovely residents, so we need someone who is friendly and approachable, with a good standard of spoken English.
