Warehouse Operative

BTS is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring accurate stock management and excellent customer service. 

• General warehouse upkeep and maintenance, ensuring a clean and organised environment.
• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries against delivery notes, accurately recording stock movements.
• Storing goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Picking and packing orders for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Delivering goods to customers as required, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
• Assisting customers at the trade counter, providing product information and processing sales.
• Maintaining accurate stock records.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts (if certified).

• Full and clean driving licence.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail1 and accuracy.
• Good communication and2 customer service skills.
• Forklift licence (desirable).
