Veterinary Receptionist

We are looking for a warm, friendly and highly organised Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This isn't your typical front-desk job - we need someone who thrives on active client interaction, works closely with our vets and nursing team, and can juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced clinic environment.

Welcoming clients and their pets with genuine warmth, putting anxious patients (and owners) at ease

Actively liaising between clients, vets, and nurses to keep appointments and communication flowing smoothly

Managing bookings, admissions and discharges - often juggling several things at once.

Handling phone and in-person enquiries, triaging urgency where needed.

Processing payments, invoicing, and maintaining accurate client / patient records

Supporting the clinical team with day-to day coordination so that they can focus on patient care.

Keeping the reception and waiting area calm, organised and welcoming.

Previous reception, customer service, or client-facing experience (veterinary or medical setting a plus).

Confident, friendly communicator who's comfortable talking with clients, vets and nurses alike.

Strong multi-tasking skills - you can stay calm and organised when things get busy.

Good computer literacy (experience with RX works is highly beneficial)

A genuine team player who pitches in wherever needed

Compassion for animals and their owners, especially during stressful or emotional moments.

Reliable, punctual and detail - oriented

You will be part of a supportive, close knit team environment, passionate about what they do
