Trainee HGV Driver

Island Waste are on the hunt for aspiring HGV Drivers! 

Are you interested in driving? Still need to pass your test?

We are looking for someone to start work immediately as a passenger and learn the role. As soon as you achieve your HGV Licence you will be employed as a Driver.

What do we provide?

• Funding for driving lessons with a qualified instructor
• Funding for both the theory and practical HGV Tests 
• The opportunity to learn to drive different types of vehicles within our Fleet including Skip Trucks, Hi-Abs and Hooks

We offer sociable daytime working hours, and the opportunity to learn to drive different vehicles within our Fleet. 

Standard hours are based on 40 hours per week, over 5 days, 07.00am – 15.00pm Monday to Friday. Some overtime maybe required.

Applicants must live in Guernsey and hold a valid right to work in Guernsey.
