AVP, Operational Risk Manager

A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Operational Risk Manager (AVP level) to support the delivery of robust risk management strategies within a regulated financial services environment.

This position involves leading operational risk incident investigations, managing complaints, and overseeing key frameworks such as Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and Business Continuity Planning. The role requires collaboration across multiple business units, providing guidance, oversight, and strategic risk input.

Candidates should have at least eight years’ experience in risk management, with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly within the Channel Islands or equivalent jurisdictions. Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills are essential, alongside familiarity with internal control frameworks and risk platforms.

The ideal candidate will be proactive in embedding a risk-aware culture, delivering training, enhancing processes, and supporting senior management through reporting and initiatives that align with industry best practices and organisational goals.
