The Position
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to lead and support clients in strengthening their information security frameworks and practices.
The Responsibilities
This role involves acting as a virtual Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), conducting risk assessments and audits, developing and implementing security policies and governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance with standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001. The consultant will also perform e-discovery and security investigations, respond to incidents, and advise on integrating security into business processes.
Experience / Qualifications / Education
A strong understanding of data protection strategies, threat management, and regulatory compliance is essential. Candidates should have at least 3–5 years of experience in information security, strong analytical and communication skills, and ideally hold certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. The ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams, and a proactive approach to keeping pace with evolving security trends and technologies, are key to success in this role.
