The Position

A well-established insurance brokerage and financial advisory firm is seeking a part-time Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper to support its accounts team.

The Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities include processing payments and invoices, reconciling statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and liaising with external accountants. Proficiency in accounting software (such as Xero, Dext, or QuickBooks) is beneficial, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel is essential. This office-based role offers 12–20 hours per week with potential for flexibility or increased hours.

Experience / Qualifications / Education

Applicants should possess strong communication and time management skills and have solid bookkeeping experience. This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible hours within a supportive and professional team.
