An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our IT team as a Business Systems Manager, where you'll play a key role in shaping and enhancing Guernsey Post’s business applications and data capabilities.
What you'll be doing: As Business Systems Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and optimising critical business applications to drive efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, ensuring that our systems remain robust, effective, and fit for purpose. A key focus of the role is developing data reporting and analysis capabilities that empower informed decision-making.
You'll ideally have experience of:
Managing and configuring business applications.
Working with suppliers to implement system updates and enhancements.
Developing and delivering data reporting and analytics to support business decisions, including working with SQL databases.
Documenting and analysing business processes, identifying risks and inefficiencies.
Researching and recommending new technology solutions that drive business value.
Providing technical support for business applications.
Leading system-related projects, ensuring smooth implementation with minimal disruption.
